Unemployed Art World: Day 2
This morning I saw Henri-Georges Clouzout’s Quai des Orfèvres. Afterward I made my way through the rain to the Envoy Gallery in the Lower East Side for an interview with a guy named Jimmy. We talked about a lot of prospective things the gallery wants to do and what I may be able to help with of those ideas. Hopefully everything works out there because it seems like it would be a lot of fun...
Unemployed Art World: Day 1
Today was slow. I wake up and feel tired all day. I’m sure I would have felt worse at work carrying boxes of books across the store or shoveling through rotting dusty paperbacks while fighting off prowling eager lunatics. I planned on trying to make the second half of the first video back drop today but went to see Kurosawa’s Drunken Angel instead.

R.I.P. Jay Reatard
This photo was taken when I lived in Memphis by my friend Matthew Melton for Jay’s album Blood Visions. I’m very sad that Jay is gone but happy that he managed to obtain the level of success he did in the past few years. He will be missed by a lot of people.
